So what if we're 10 years late?  

Try not to laugh too hard at this first attempt at setting up a web page...

Nothing fancy here (mainly because I don't know how to design a web page yet), but this should ideally become the site you want to visit when you get all nostalgic about your school days... especially if you did matric at Southlands in 1994!

After visiting this site you should never feel nostalgic again.

Yes, I know how that sounds...

As at 2004, it's been 10 (TEN) years since we escaped from Southlands High.

No doubt you're familiar with the sentimental shmaltz that comes with sites like this, so you should be able to figure out why I set this up.

Still stuck on the 10 years bit huh?

Many of us kept in touch with our closer friends over the years, but nobody has been able to keep in touch with their whole class, much less all the matrics.

A few of us thought that it might be a nice idea to get as many of us as possible under one roof at the same time.

Others thought we were crazy - I've never denied this.

Nevertheless, we started planning a reunion for 10 April 2004

It wasn't our aim to save the world or force new relationships on old faces - we just wanted to have a get-together for the hell of it!

And we did! We've got pictures to prove it!

Feel free to send me any of your matric pictures that you want me to put on the site. Also, if there's anything that made matric - or school in general especially worth remembering - drop me a line - I'll add it to our Nostalgia page.

I don't know how long this site will last - but at least we can say - we had a site!
